Our story
About KROKI
A family business between the Netherlands and Bulgaria, with a workshop in Sofia and a craftsman with more than 20 years of experience in wood.
20+years of experience in wood
The craftsman behind KROKI
KROKI is a family business between the Netherlands and Bulgaria. We choose every piece ourselves, from Dutch homes, estates and auctions: furniture made more than 150 years ago by craftsmen who knew their wood.
In the Sofia workshop, master craftsman Emil checks every piece. He has more than 20 years of experience in wood, and he restores what needs it. We keep the patina, the grain and the small marks of time. They make this furniture hard to replace.
Other finds travel along with the furniture: wall clocks, fireplaces, serviced scooters. Everything passes through the same hands and the same checks before it reaches you.
What we stand for
Honest photos
We photograph pieces as they are. Marks of time stay visible, because they are part of the story.
The patina stays
We restore so the piece can be used, not so it looks new. The original is the value.
Paperwork for every purchase
An invoice or receipt with every purchase. Scooters come with a contract and a 1-year warranty.
A personal touch
You talk directly to the people who choose and restore the furniture.
